Well, unlike Epic... they did actually get to look at the hardware rather then randomly speculate off rumors.

But... they may be pushing their engine as a middleware solution.  Which could be why Mark Rein was so butthurt.  Nintendo talked to CryTek and not him.

When did nintendo partnered with powerhouse developers with a massive game engine to get awesome graphics on their games?

What Crytek and Epic does, is quite the opposite of Nintendo I think.
