Only instances that I can think of that sort of count:
Used my friend's PSN download list to get Battlefield 1943 on my PS3.
My neighbor's tenants moved out so he invited us to look through all the stuff they left behind. Among their trash I found of bunch of old PS2 games including Smackdown Here Comes The Pain which is one of my favorite games so I took it.
