There are aspects of 10 and 12 I enjoyed: I liked the battle system in both games. I was just not too fond of the sprawling 3D environments, they caused me to get tired of the games often - whereas I could probably sit and play through any of FF6, FF7, or FF8 all the way through - given I had the time and coffee =)

I liked the direction the series was going on SNES and PSX, but FF10, 12, and 13 seemed to be following the trend of making the worlds bigger, and increasing the amount of combat, and lowering the frequency of communication between characters and story sequences.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
