For the PS3, Gran Turismo is going to have to do most of the heavy lifting this holiday season, both for PS3 hardware and PS3 software (especially now that LBP2 has been bumped to January).
It'll be close. 360 and PS3, despite having many similar games coming up this holiday, will each have certain 3rd party games that sell a whole bunch on their respective system. 360 will have big(ger) numbers for Black Ops and FallOut. PS3 will hit big on NFS and FIFA.
Saying all of that... they look pretty close. But, with the continued Slim momentum and the release of Kinect, I think 360 will edge out the PS3 this winter, but not by much.
