I agree, the game is awesome, completed chp.1 and about half-way in chp.2, the graphics are pretty awesome, though I wouldn't throw it with U2 and GoW 3 just yet(must play the entire game game imo)
the battle system kinda resembles God of War's(somewhat similar ground combos) and somewhere between the lines on NG and Dante's Inferno's air combos
the music is very pleasing, specially the mini-boss and boss fights, I have the PS3 version(didn't know the 360 had a collector's edition...would've gotten that)
the only thing I dislike is the fixed camera, it really can be a pain when looking for gems and scrolls, also when in battle it will sometimes will seem that the enemies or their projectiles will come out of nowhere, and since I'm playing on knight difficulty it gets me frustrated at times.
anyway I would recommend this to any castlevania fan, it might be different but it still retains the classic castlevania feel(mostly do to the music)
