This is why I must counter this notion of hours=love! Especially since you can beat the Genesis Sonic games in a couple of hours!

Once you get more into this game, you'll realize that there's a TON of repetition, especially in the second half.  So in a lot of ways, long playtimes does show that people love this game, since they're not exactly encountering new content after a while.
