If game piracy wasn't the huge epidemic it is today, then there could be a homebrewing community. I think it is a very small sacrifice to pay in order to prevent software theft.
I can't stand people who say "Why are you buying the game when you can just download it?" and think that they are entitled to play games, if "well, I probably wasn't going to buy it anyway. But anyway, the game is awesome, I finished it three times already!"
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
