i think people still underestimates what the holydays boost can do for nintendo's consoles. there is also a very strong line up, starting this october with wii party and just dance 2, which should start with mid-low numbers and progressively get bigger untill huge december sales (they are both titles people play with friends so a lot of word of mouh is garanteed. also, jd2 is doing quite good an the american pre-orders chart, and wii party is a "wii" title, with a controller bundle. they'll be huge), and culminating with Donkey Kong Country Returns which could be a NSMBW in a smaller scale. after all there is a co-op mode, and the nostalgia factor is quite big. i remember when i was a kid that the 3 DKCs were all the rage at that time. i bet there is still a lot of people who remembers them like me. the same could be said for the Goldeneye remake. surely goldeneye wasn't as big as DKC but a lot of people played it to death with friends and if this turns out to be a decent remake it could be enough to move some hardware on the nostalgia (and the multyplayer splitscreen). and then there's epic mickey, i'm not too sure on this but it's already showing on the pre-order chart and it seems to be getting some word of mouth even between people who are not into gaming... oh... and it's MICKEY... if it gets good reviews and a nice marketing push it could also help the wii sales.

sure this holydays won't be as strong as 2009's holydays for wii, but i think a lot of people will be surprised at the end.
