I can't really see the problem with a Zelda OOT remake, Since it is a classic and this new version might even include extra dungeons, better controls, etcetera. So the graphic update wouldn't even be the main addition to me and besides it's not like Nintendo themselves have remade all that many games the only one that does come to mind in the last decade is Mario 64 DS.

Putting in new dungeons would mean a change in the story. Are we talking about a graphically updated remake of OoT, or are we talking about a re-invisioning of OoT?

If this game is substantially different from OoT and changes up the pace of the game and the dungeons and story, then I don't even know if I'd call it OoT anymore since then it just about shares as much with the rest of the Zeldas.

But I would much prefer that.

Are you forgetting the concept of a bonuse dungeon?

Plus what if Rauru needs Link to prove he is worthy of that medallion?

I addressed "addon" dungeons with a later post. I articulated my thoughts with this response: "Meh."

=P

Now, if they add in a whole freakin new dungeon for the Light Medallion that Rauru gives us, I am going to admit my interest will shoot up 110% for this game. If it's an expansion and re-invisioning of OoT, I am so down for it. But I want the change to be substantial and game-changing enough to be fresh and create a new impact. Not just some fluffy fluff filler like we got for Super Mario 64.

(I am sorry if my opinion on SM64DS' bonus content offends anyone.)
