What makes you say this? We don't have any data on how the first Starcraft sold (its sales pattern), and I'm not sure our current data counts Korea at all, which is easily its biggest market.

Worldwide, I'd bet on it easily topping any Gears title (though its western sales are weaker).

As for Starcraft 2, thats a good point. Korea, one of the biggest markets is essentially excluded from this data, and what about China and Japan? I know several Chinese people who play Starcraft 2, I bet their cousins in China play too.

Starcraft may also outsell Gears of War 2, but the DLC is not even due in 2011, and even if it did come out in 2011, sales in 2011 would definatly be below Gears 3. This is about the best exclusive in 2011 right?
