why do you care or are bothered what other people like or buy? someone wants a remake, how does that affect you in any way to the point that it bothers you enough to have to start a thread about it? I got your point, simply nothing about it made any sense. you criticized a business for doing what business' do -- identify consumer demand and satisfy it, as if that was a negative. that's ridiculous. more ridiculous is then trying to mask that and attempt to claim you aren't criticizing that company. The reason I care is because those fans who only cry for more ports are the reason Nintendo isn't dedicating itself to come out with only new games. If the fans are happy with just ports, why bother? That in turn affects me as a gamer. So that's why I care about the other gamers' preferences. It's my opinion that they're holding Nintendo back. I'm not complaining about Nintendo doing good business, I'm complaining that rehashes and ports are all that the core Nintendo gamer seems to care about. I'm mad at the fans for making Nintendo more profitable by LIMITING themselves as a company. Instead of the core gamer helping Nintendo stay innovative and create new ideas. I am not upset at Nintendo, I'm upset at fans. You completely missed my point again. the proof that Nintendo has the resources to develop new games while porting old games simultaneously is in the fact that Nintendo has made ports of old games and new games at the same time in the past. are you seriously attempting to dispute that? the actual game brands are irrelevant, all that matters is that they have done so and intelligence and logic dictate that can be projected onto other games. or are you going to make the argument that Nintendo can afford to do so with other properties, but can't afford to do so with one of their flagship properties. are you going to commit the logical fallacy of using a narrow argument that only fits your position rather than a broad criteria that can apply to all? by the sense you've exhibited so far in this thread, I'm sure that is exactly what you are going to do . Please stop with the personal flaming. You do nothing but demean me and pretend like you're all high and mighty. It's getting us nowhere and all you're asking for is to encite me to yell back. Do you genuinely believe that with a huge team working on SS right now, and the amount of effort and manpower it took to remake OoT on the 3DS, that Nintendo still has had sufficient resources to allocate to whatever their new Zelda 3DS will be? You failed to show any proof, but I do hope you're right. It would make the situation a lot better to know that this HD port isn't affecting the real Zelda game for the 3DS. But I do wish you'd give me something more than your personal flames and "logic."
IMO, I don't think Nintendo will hurry to make a real 3DS Zelda game anytime soon. Even if OoT 3DS wasn't potentially hindering its production, I think Nintendo will find itself content with only releasing OoT to keep Zelda fans happy for a few years until they finally do come out with the 3DS Zelda. If OoT 3DS wasn't coming out, Nintendo would have more of a reason to get goin' and finish the real 3DS Zelda. That's what I think, anyways. You think otherwise? |
