As much as I've heard that argument, I've heard of more than enough cases of either people moving on to cigaretts, or getting together in social settings every day. Your best bet if you are a hooka smoker is just saying "I don't care if it is bad for me" not trying to make lame excuses of how it is better for you 
Anyways, my brother-in-law used to smoke hooka and I'm just glad he broke the thing and doesn't have money to replace it.
