According to Wikipedia (which referenced the link below) letters B and J stand for Beverly Jean, a daughter of one of the founders. However, I can't find any information on when Berkley & Jensen was formed. Considering B&J is a store brand of BJ's I'm inclined to believe that BJ's does not stand for B&J.
