rofl. Never. PS3 hasn't beaten it once there in yearly sales, and barely tops 1 mill there a year.

EA have been arse licking Sony a lot lately, I don't know why. Maybe it's because Microsoft is firmly in bed with Activision .. but then it doesn't sound like Activision love Microsoft that much, just their money!

we could start to see a change if FIFA11 gets PS3 advertising and GT5 coming...but i don't think the effect will be enough to change the tide...i'm sure it'll be a close battle though.

The Fifa ads have always been advertised as PS3. Not sure but i think they may have some exclusive advertising deal?

Regardless it won't be a close battle and isn't a close battle. 360 has almost doubled PS3 sales in UK. In nearly 4 years on sale PS3 has just crossed the 3m bracket. This is with having in my opinion a better line up of games, blu-ray, new model and price cuts. 1 game is not going to make a difference now. Price will and PS3 will never get close to 360's price. Look at what is happening now in UK. All MS did was release a new model, not even a price cut and it un-did all Sony's gains for the year in a matter of a few months. Imagine what it will do when the arcade drops to £99?

As for GT5 i am sorry but as mentioned time and time again i just don't think there are hundreds of thousands of people who have sat this gen out waiting 4-5 years for a GT game to come out before they buy a PS3. If they were that hardcore they would of got it for prologue. The reality is those die hard GT fans will also like other games on the Playstation 3 so will have bought it for them too. If it was a launch title then most deffinatly. But not 4-5 years into the gen.

Understatement of the year, in the very brief period the PS3 outsold the 360 in the UK (8 weeks Sep- Oct) it outsold 360 by only 60. 360 did more than that the week it was released.

I meant gains in terms of total gains in europe. I haven't looked at PS3/360 sales in a longtime in UK.

Either way the point which i was making is that Sony have done a lot in UK over the past 12 months or so i.e price cuts/new models even bundles with 3 new games and 3 blu-rays and it hasen't made any difference at all. 1 game i.e GT5 won't change that pattern. Being cheaper will.
