Yes, but you can't generalize the market because of your own opinion. Almost everyone I know who likes Gears of War 1, liked Gears of War 2 better. I thought the cover system was improved, and multiplayer was enourmously better. I also don't get much lag, maybe thats just your connection.
Anyway, your estimates are reasonable, especially considering your feelings towards Gears 2. I'm just saying people can't generalize their opinions. Gears 2 got better ratings, and is looking to outsell Gears 1 soon, so that alone tells us it's a good game.
