I dont think xbox 360 will have a lead of 6 million by the end of this year. GT5 will sell consoles im sure. And sony has to be dumb not to bundle it with consoles. I think 360 will end up having a lead of maybe 4.5-5.5 million by the end of this year. And 5 million difference is not much anyways. Lets face it 360 came out a year earlier so it is natural for it to be ahead throughout this gen. The wii is a special case because well it was cheaper and was the "cool" thing to buy.

oh wait im going off topic. Anyways it might be possible. Blu ray sales are increasing every year. The ps3 price is decreasing every 1-2 years. Ps3 so far has the best line up for 2011. I dont think the 360 will even come close to the number of quality games ps3 will have next year. All those games might actually sell a bunch of consoles. Imagine the PS3 going $200-$250 next year too! Either way people who don't own a ps3 will be missing out. Luckily i own both 360/ps3 :)

360 doesn't have a lead of 6 million now, I was in the thread discussing how accurate VG chartz is and I became aware that a few months ago they added 1 million 360 sales because of untracking that apparently happened 4 years ago, now a few months ago would be after the last shipment sales I saw from MS and Sony which put VG chartz .3 mil behind the shipped numbers, and since the mistake happend 4 years ago that means VG chartz thinks 360 sold more then it shipped..., thats not even possible

well vgcharts is not the most reliable source in the world but they do give good estimates. I would trust the shipment numbers given by sony and microsoft.

They seem to be good with games but hardware seems to be getting more and more inaccurate, I really don't think the gap is even 4 million right now, since they were 2 million behind on the ps3 last shipment report (which was 3 million something less then MSes shipment report) with the 360 having more sales then shipped and ps3 being under tracked it's creating a pretty significant gap much of it is inaccurate it's no wonder people are surprised every time Sony comes out with their numbers
