EA’s European V.P Jens Uwe Intat revealed when speaking to MCV UK that they were anticipating the recapture of the market from Xbox by the PS3 just like in other European countries. He also stated that the duel between Sony and Microsoft is a positive one for his company because it helped boost their sales. EA will also be releasing new games for the PlayStation Move and Xbox Kinect soon according to Intat. Both controllers could be a major hit worldwide with video game fans to the detriment of Nintendo who are still relying on traditional gaming.

Well all i know is 360 just this week surpassed PS3 in the entire EMEAA area (Europe, middle east, aust, africa ) which includes the UK... I think it'll be a tight race in this area, but right now the 360 slim is causing the Xbox 360 to outpace the PS3 again.. by the end of this year it looks like the 360 will outsell the PS3 for this years only sales.. right now the PS3 is still ahead, but it was WAY AHEAD, not its about maybe 6 weeks ahead in yearly sales.. So by end of year 360 will increase it overall lead over PS3 by 6 million consoles..
