Were they really? I can hardly call myself a sony fan but when I bought both the ps1 and 2 I was only interested in the games. Heck when I bought them I had absolutely no idea whether they were selling good or bad. I bought the ps1 mainly because of the jrpgs and the ps2 because of the survival horrors. Actually I first found out how many consoles were sold a couple of years ago.
