yea, I think the Texans are for real, however they have some huge holes they need to fix in their defense. They are 31 ypg rushing on defense, but they let a whopping 411 ypg in passing (vs Manning & McNabb).
Right now, the only thing keeping them alive is their offense has been superb with #1 in rushing and scoring, and #6 in passing. It is sorta like Indianapolis only with rushing & passing defense swapped.
Not only that, they were good last year, but only managed 9-7 which isn't enough to guarentee a playoff spot. Anyways, I expect their spotty defense to really hurt them later in the year.
