Lots of scripted events is a good thing? Now that's a first.

You only have to look as far as Uncharted 2 to see how incredible a game full of playable scripted events can be.

Well it pales compared to open world games and I haven't played Uncharted 2 yet, only about 1/4th of Unchated.

Uncharted 1 didn't but I hope Uncharted 2 will change my mind a bit about scripted events. I don't like them but sometimes they're a necessary evil (all games have scripts to some extent)

In this Bioshock Infinity demo I can't see the obvious good about them.

Was it really only me and Disolitude who thought this looked on-rails?



It does look on-rails. Which makes it all the more impressive that it isn't on-rails.
