They should sell about 10m each. The AC franchise is just brilliant, and ACII was one of the greatest games of the generation. Brotherhood probably won't sell so much, as it has been only 1 year since the last one, but this franchise should continue for a while to come

the 1 year gap could hurt, but L4D2 didn't suffer, it actually sold more. So hopefully same can be said for AC:B

That is true, but AC II didn't sell as well as AC I... so I am not sure, with MP it could go either way

As for playing AC I... it is inferior in every way to ACII as that was the best improvement in a sequel ever (I think) as it addressed every flaw in the first game, of which there were many. I played it briefly recently, and even the (at the time) amazing free running felt stunted compared to AC II

@ hatmoza, don't be turned off by the inclusion of MP. Ubisoft are throwing every resource they have at this game, so they have a full SP story, which may not be as long as AC II, but that was a long game, so at the very least you are getting a good length game. For me, Rome seems a big enough location, and one that probably does deserve its own game, so I'm REALLY looking forward to it, in spite of my apathy for multiplayer in general

You are aware that Assassin's Creed 1 had a 2 year advantage over assassin's creed 2....and that in the same frame of time that Assassin's Creed on the 360 at 43 weeks (which is how long ACII has been out)  had sold 3.8 million, while Assassin's Creed 2 is at 4.1 million right?

No..... and the PS3 version has sold better as well, so I am just completely wrong
