Regardless, we will see in a week what it made week 1. Not a long wait to see if it outsold halo 3.

Microsoft's Phil Spencer said "Globally". Not to mention he said this at a TGS briefing.

But seriously unless I know his sources he's not more credible than VGChartz. I seriously doubt the sources are internally so who are they ? Chart-Track ? Famitsu ? NPD? Well that's it. Covers much of the market but not everything.

Furthermore he said it HIT $200m day one and Halo 3 did OVER $300m week one. I'm pretty sure the real Reach numbers will be higher than $200m. That was just a nice sum to write in articles, but extremely unlikely that the numbers were in between $200m and $204.9m. A number that could be given to the press, but too early to have a more precise results.

Damn it, I can't argue that.

 

Anyways his sources are Microsoft, considering they own the IP and it is a first party title.
