Sales aren't where the are because PS3 had plenty of exclusives. Sales are where they are because the 360 exclusives underperformed sales wise.

 

Also Squilliam, you say that GT5 is only one game, but so is Halo Reach. Plus you forget about LittleBigPlanet 2 that comes in November.

Facts not excuses.

If the PS3 has stronger exclusives and a few large titles which are stronger within the Playstation family then it'll have stronger sales relative to the Xbox 360.

If you take the gap plus GT5 plus LBP it is quite likely than the overall number will be smaller or equal than Halo: Reach LTD and the end of 2010 plus Fable 3 LTD and perhaps even the Kinect games given the more bullish outlook on early sales for Kinect relative to Move. Then all we need to consider is that Q4 means more to overall American sales in Q4 than it does to Europe or Japan and than the Xbox 360 is stronger in that region to safely predict that the remainder of the year the weekly sales will be higher on the Xbox 360.

Also as a fan of Fable I am absolutely embarrassed that I failed to mention Fable 3 and it's easy 1.5-2M sales before years end. -__-
