I hope for no such thing. The PSP, which released during the golden days of the PS2, wasn't able to achieve anywhere near the PS2's success, despite the fact that every single one of Nintendo's handhelds has outsold every single one of its home consoles. Granted, the bar wasn't set as high, but the PSP was still destroyed by the DS.
The 3DS is the DS, in 3D, with much better third party support. All of the media love it, everyone who's seen or used it loves it, it is incredible technology, and apparently, it won't be very expensive either. As I've said, the PSP2 is most likely going to its death.
