I would be surprise if Sony takes another price drop next year. Fans love to throw this out there but I believe Sony would like to make a profit and not continue to give it away just to gain market share. At this point, the game is over, The Wii won, MS and Sony can fight for the scraps. Even if Sony was able to close the gap, it probably would take another 3 to 5 years and everyone will be playing the next hotness from the two companies to even care.
