Actually my post did come earlier then I thought, and I probably did unintentionally spark a PS3 versus 360 war. When I read the first post, I read it like "Well the 360 sucks, so why are people buying one? Is it people with old broken consoles upgrading?" It seemed like the thread may have been designed to insult the 360.
I only intended to make the comment that, for the same reason as why PS3 is selling well, the 360 is too.

Regardless of weather or not my post sparked a PS3-360 fight, I did not intend that. I read the OP as an attack on the 360, I admit that, and I just wanted to say "Stop attacking the 360." As a lot of people do that in these forums. I did not critisize the PS3 in any way in that comment.
Either way, you still shouldn't have flipped out on themanwithnoname. He understood my comment, and was just pointing out that your "over-reacting." You did answer that guys question, but you also went on to explain in detail on how it started a flame war, and that itself is what themanwithnoname meant when he said you were over-reacting.
My initial comment was not intended to start any flame war, but you managed to twist what I had to say, so that it became something of that nature. You potentially extended a flame war to, I dunno, try to make me look bad.
Also you are mad at me. Maybe because you never could explain those "holes in my logic." I mean you did try to discredit my opinion in the past mainly because I disagreed with you. You are pretty rude and forceful.

Nothing to be mad about man, really. You were proven wrong in that thread and kept saying I was rude. It's a dead issue now.
In here, your post was the issue. Now that you've pretty much seen in and understood it, there's nothing left to go on about.

You never proved me wrong, you just claimed that and left when you couldn't make a counter-arguement. Also you completly abandoned the tread where I had "holes in my logic." You just claimed my opinion was flawed, but never pointed out those flaws. How is that proving me wrong? I just caught you when you wanted to say I was wrong, but had nothing to counter me with.
Also the issue themanwithnoname and I were adressing, was not my original post. It was about you isolating my comment and always drilling anyone who dares oppose the PS3. You were not simply trying to say my original comment was the start of the war, you were also trying to make me look like a person who simply writes comments to start flame wars.
That was the issue that you keep ignoring.
We were just pointing out that additional comments that are designed to undermine people are unnessesary. So please stop trying to undermine people, and please learn to respect the opinions of others.
BTW I appoligize if I started any flame war with my original comment. However people should not be making threads like this, I still think there was a subtle "Why the heck is 360 selling so well? It sucks!" association with the OP. I think my responce was dignified, just poorly worded.

The bolded is probably all that was needed here, really. manwithnoname defended you for more reasons than that, but again, this is not even an argument anymore, it's baseless labels and name-calling (I admit, partially from myself as well) and should end.
Besides, I have TGS footage/info/announcements to keep watch of. :P

Wow I can't beleive you. You insult so many people and never take responsibility. You just listen to what you want to hear, and ignore everything else. I bet your like this to everyone that has a different opinion from you, so I'll just leave you alone from now on.
This was never an arguement, you tried to make me look bad, themanwithnoname stood up for me, then you insulted him. Nobody returned an insult, it's hard to argue with yourself. You're just twisting the situation so it matches what you want it to be as. I have never directly insulted someone on these forums, never called anyone any names, so I put full blaime on you for the childish name calling. As for labels, I only said you were rude before, when you were actually rude, making comments that undermined me, trying to give me a bad image simply because I disagreed with you.
I have no-reason to insult others, I just love my games, and I like to voice my opinion now and then. You don't have to agree with me, but you shouldn't make comments that either insult me, or are designed to undermine me or make me look bad.
I'm betting a moderator warned you in that "mega franchise" thread, and thats the only reason you backed off me that time.
