Why is the 360 still selling as it has been?

Kinect requires it's own power supply. The 360 Slim allows you to directly plug the Kinect peripheral into your 360 (thus only using one outlet). You may also not be required to do a full system update, but that only takes like under 5 minutes? (I know system updates on PS3 take forever).
