I like your mention of Echochrome. Not to start a argument, but I don't think Brawl is bigger then Gran Turismo. Other then that, you're right. It's all opinion though =)

ahh i see,
Yamauchi recently said the current release is Holiday 2008, but of course, this could change. Although even if GT5 does reach it's 2008 release, Brawl will still sell more then in 2008 because it will have around a 9 month head start ;)

Even IF it makes that date (Which it sounds like we agree isn't sure), it will likely only launch in Japan. Previous GTs have staggered their launches, including GT4 -- which launched in Christmas in Japan, and then Feb/March for the US/EU respectively. Since neither of us are Japanese, that release wouldn't do us much good even if they hit it, and as we've already noted, major next-gen games have had serious issues hitting their release dates.
