It goes to show just how little faith people had in Other M boosting sales and how much faith people had in the 360S carrying sales on, no? 

Metroid other m could have boost Wii by about 5,000 and the rest was caused by legacy and bank holiday discount in UK. Maybe Metroid's effects will still be there somewhat next time, we are getting colser to the holidays now so I expect wii sales to gradually increase.

Maybe, but the 360 will be back on top due to Reach being released. Even if few new people buy the 360 with reach, old Halo Fanboys will likely trade in their old 360 for the Reach limited edition bundle. Here in the UK the world has gone mad for the game!
