You're injecting opinion as fact and then building your arguments around that, which is part of the problem.

I'm with you.  I don't think the Prime games are easy but I don't recall finding any of them particularly challenging.  Objectively Echoes is a little harder, but you want that from a sequel because you already have the skills you developed while playing the the first game.

If I was going to make my own assumptions I could say perhaps Retro decided to make Corruption a little easier than Echoes due to the complaints from some quarters regarding the former's unforgiving difficulty.  It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Nintendo, the casualz or the game being on the Wii.
