I would assume that the temporary Wii price cut for the UK Bank Holiday that we saw reflected in last weeks sales is also showing here.

The problem with that theory is that the Wii had a hardware boost of around 15% in all the regions in EMEAA, and the discount was only in the UK.

It's easy to estimate the effect of that "legacy-deal", or however it was called. The deal was Wii with Wii sports for 150$, but without Resort and motion plus. So the difference between Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort (1k more or less) should reflect that Deal-boost. It must be something else that pushed HW that much.

Parents getting ready for Christmas maybe? I think MO:M did some boost in a few countries, let's say on average it boosted Wii HW by about 700 in 11 countries which does add up.
