I'm confused, what are you saying "sweet" to?, because it sounded like it's sweet that the Wii version is gimped (which is what this thread is about).
We already knew that the 360/PS3 version was going to have online features. The only thing we didn't know was if the Wii version would have these features as well. I just found it to be a very odd (and unnecessary) comment in the context of this thread.
