Not really FFXIII could have easily got that extra 1.5 Million on PS3 (that its at on 360 right now) had it been exclusive. |
I actually agree with this. The initial sales would have been worse, but I think the legs would have been better. I do stand by the fact that the multi-plat decision, content-wise, had a negative effect on the quality of the game.
Looking at past mainstream Japanese games that released on PS3 and 360, I would be very surprised if this hit 100k in Japan. From what I observed in Japan, most 360 owners = PS3 owners as well.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
