I was looking at the disparity between glasses-free 3D and glasses-required 3D. The price of 3D TVs being higher isn't really a factor I seem to find important in this topic. Of course it's more expensive than a tiny handheld? All TVs are.

Your comparing the disparity between a 3000$ TV and a 400$ handheld, not between glasses or not. If the handheld would be glasses and the TV glassless we would still look at similar numbers. People are interest in 3D, glasses or not. Though, dont get me wrong, im not saying people would choose glasses over glassless for the same product at same price.

Alrighty. I'll just compare HD TV to 3D TV ones then. Will that count? Looks like people aren't all that crazy over the current style of 3D TVs.
