I won't explain in long detail, but this goes wherever someone thinks Amazon preorders/sales represent the the whole country. As in if Imagine Party Babies was number 2 on Amazon US, does that mean that mean everyone in the US is clamoring over it?

Someone please answer, I've been living with ignorance for far to long. 

Someone in VG Chartz quite a long time ago came up with the idea that every time someone post that Amazon is saying this game is at X position or sold out of whatever, that a baby seal dies. Amazon represents like 2% of the gaming market so it doesn't matter what it says which game is number one, it doesn't actually mean it is or will be.
