well I keep hearing from people that sony tvs are brilliant for movies but not good for gaming...
I was going to grab an LG because you get great value for the price but I didn't know much about how reliable their home TVs were.. I've already had 2 LCD screens fail on me.. Toshiba 32" LCD which is less than 4 years old and and LG 19" LCD monitor which was less than 2 years old.. you can pick up LG tvs everywhere now and they are much cheaper than the competition. Go into larger chains of ASDA,Tesco and Sainsburys or Richer Sounds and find LG's being sold in there.
So after some research I decided to go with panasonic plasma this time and haven't regretted it one bit except during the first week of getting it home and setting it up and thinking.. "dayum that's a really big ass tv for my room"...... but I've gotten used to the size now and think think it's brilliant for gaming and great for retro consoles too.
I guess time will tell if this will be reliable or not but I love panasonic stuff anyway even tho they cost more than other manufacturers.
3D tv's are still too expensive and I really didn't want to shell out over 100 for each additional glasses here in UK
