We had perfect figures for Dante's Inferno, FIFA and Bad Company... But Mass Effect 2 was 1.6 Million sold on the 360 alone. Nevermind PC too.

Though I'll point out that thee's no source cited for that conference call and they might not be including PC sales, nor is it illustrated the date up to which sales had been counted.

Well it was reported by a LOT of websites... And Nothing from EA to refute any of the claims. And as I said... Our numbers for every other game were pretty much spot on. I think we had ME2 on the 360 alone on 1.6 Million sold, so no PC sales, nothing on shelves and no DD sales.

Brett never replied to the claims or anything. I remember posting the link to the thread we had here to him but we got nothing.

Try reading what's been said and the links posted before you try butting in with something completely irrelevant.

You know, there are times where I like you (the past weeks for example) and times where I can't stand you and with that statement you're slowly heading into the other section again. I hope I'm mistaken about that.

I don't doubt that Mass Effect 2 might be a bit overtracked here and there, but you make it sound like it didn't even hit a million at the end of March.

I would've even accepted the 1.6 million number as shipped if it was for 360 only. With PC sales and digital distribution that number just sounds so fake.

But you also said that they might used a tracking service like NPD and Chart Track. There would still be quite a few regions left where they didn't got any numbers from.

I'm not being aggressive. It's just annoying when someone does something pointless. I remember telling you the exact same thing in the original thread about these numbers and the shipped numbers.

And even if there were regions they didn't get numbers from.. It would still mean the PC sold 0 copies of the game. 0. None at retail and none online at all according to VGC.

Yes. They shipped 2 Million as the first shipment. Yet they are saying they sold through of 1.6 Million. Are we not to believe the actual publisher of the game now?

Nah. Not NA only. They specifically say Europe aswell so...

With all the numbers we have from NPD and chart positions we have fromg GfK, PC sales must have been terrible anyway. Both 0 and 300k sales sound similar unlikely to me. Especially when Steam sales are included.

300k PC sales sounds a lot more reasonable than there being MINUS units...
