Well, one thing is for certain, this game is the only Metroid title that is not sickeningly overrated.

 

I think most of the reviewers are reviewing it negatively based on how it differs from Metroid Prime; personally, I found Metroid Prime incredibly boring - cutscenes were very dry (face it, they are way better than the dry and amateurish ones in Metroid Prime 3), and not being able to see your character 98% of the time really lowered my interest.

There are some stupid comments which amount to "Samus wasn't emotional before in Metroid and Super Metroid." That is the same as saying "Samus couldn't speak before," and the reasons why she does both in this game is because of technology.



I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
