Seeing what the temporary price cut did in the UK for the Wii last week, I wonder if certain members will still insist that software alone is what moves consoles... I've lost count of how many times I've had that discussion in here, price is really important.
Sales are decent, 360 still doing great numbers and will likely settle around the 70-75k mark then all is said and done but by then the holiday season will be close to kicking in. PS3 not doing so great imo, up only 12% from last year (didn't the Slim launch this week last year?), could start to go stagnant at the current price point in EMEAA. Wii keeps on heading downhill, PSP will be at its deathbed this time next year and sorely needs a successor at this point. DS stilll doing extremely well, especially when factoring in the age of the system by now. Nintendo refuses to rework the Wii to spark hardware sales but hasn't the endless DS models, the PS3 Slim and 360 Slim shown that it works like hell? How about a price cut and a new model, Nintendo?
