How many 360 consoles will sell the week of Halo Reach launch?

ODST being a side story is not the reason for modest sales (for the series). It was basically just a Halo 3 expansion. New campaign, but same old multiplayer.

Halo Wars was a completely different genre. Not a particularly popular one on consoles either.

People comparing the sales of those with Reach is pointless.

well when it comes down to it, I guess my point is: if it's Halo and it's a FPS, it will sell like crazy without effecting hardware sales much.

Well Halo 3 boosted hardware sales by 100k (135k to 230k). Thats a pretty significant effect, and judging by Pre-orders, Reach is looking like a bigger title.
