The PS3 is following almost exactly the same line as the 360. If people consider the PS3 a failure for selling the same as the 360 then surely the 360's a failure too? Personally I think all this generation's consoles are pretty successful.

I don't agree, the ps3 is considered a failure because it is the console that came after the most succesful console(ps2), so it is a failure compared to the ps2

However, the xbox360 came after the xbox, which will be outsold  by the xbox360, so it is a succes comparing it to the original xbox,

 

and i dont agree with you... saying the ps3 was gonna sell 18 mil its first year just because the ps2 did it is stupid... where im from you have to prove yourself 1st to be called a succes not the other way around.... I'll admit the ps3 had a bad year.. but now its doing a heck of alot better than all these so called know it alls predicted....
