Haha I sorta feel the same way about the baby thing, I don't mind the voice I think it works well and suits Samus, even though its got her talking a lot its mostly her thoughts, shes always been an introverted person so it's keeping to that, and when you think to yourself you do repeat things over and over, so when she's thinking about this oh so important baby she would repeat it again and again.
I can grasp what they're going for as far as her dialog goes.
