Some people either lack the skill or don't want/can't buy a guitar/skateboard, so they buy games to appease those wills. For pets, well, I think it only works portable, since you can't bring your pet everywhere (and tha's where Kinectimals fails). For Milo I have no idea, I just think Microsoft is stupid.
