Twesterm....remember the old days when what drove you to completing a game was being able to say you did.  Or just to see the next level.  I think achievements are great (and many Wii games actually have some sort of system in place)...but shouldn't a game compel you to play it simply because it's either fun or challenging?

 

I'm not knocking you or your opinion...I just think that something has been lost this generation.   Case in point....some people will play the worst games ever created just for the achievement points.  At that point it's almost like the achievement points become its own game...whereby the difficulty ramps up based on the dullness or boredom that is inflicted upon you just to earn a few more points.  Genius.
