| Jaos said: I played the demo today at gamescom. Though I was never the biggest Metroid fan (I started console gaming with N64, never knew about it til Gamecube, only then tried the 2d titles and didn't try Prime til Wii, don't like ego perspective games) I'm sure I'm going to buy it now. The 3rd/1st person view switching is so seamless, 3rd person controls work great, it feels a lot like the 2d Metroid games. There seems to be a lot of 2,5d areas in the game. I didn't like the jumping in Prime 3, but with the new gameplay exploration feels great again. Very very good game, I'm even willing to endure the video sequences (which seem all skippable even on the first go). |
So is it true that the gameplay is not always accompanied by music? I guess they want to make the game as surreal as possible.
