I'm pretty sure BioWare and especially Dr Ray Muyzka and Dr Greg Zeschuk aren't dumb. Even if EA forced them to make ME2 on PS3, BioWare would work out a way so that PS3 only players can start off the Mass Effect Series with ME2 including bits and pieces from ME1. They'll work out a way.

Actually the problem is what happens to the decision made in number 1. How will that carry over for 3. 

If the intro sequence is interactive, then problem solved, IMO.
