Not to mention the plasma TV it comes with is a low end TV. Look it up for its individual costs to see what your really paying for those items. When I researched TVs in feb, I originally thought about getting a plasma but all I read about on many different forums and tech reviews was how burn in was still an issue and they used considerable more electricity than LCD TVs. My personal prefrence would be to just buy a regular LCD TV and wait until 3D is either using the passive system with cheaper glasses like theaters or a glassless system like the 3DS. |
I would have to agree with SuperChunk on this one. 3D just isn't a viable option yet. As I see it that TV embodies two technologies that aren't perfected yet, plasma and 3D. I'm sure you could find a better deal without the 3D.
