I don't get global warming at all.
Someone explain it to me.
If it's true, why did the UK have it's coldest winter in years and why are we currently having a dreadful summer?
As for needing another planet anytime soon. I disagree. We have survived here for long enough and can continue to survive. Don't be having for example, 13 children per family. I'm looking at you, Africa.
Have scientists actually researching things that can help the human race on this planet. Have them researching new, cheaper and quicker ways of transport, new engines that can use, for example, water... As fuel for when our fuel "runs out". New "pills" for food or whatever. Have them researching new cures for diseases. New ways to try tell if a Natural Disaster is going to happen. Ways to make places like Africa as habitable as the UK or the US or wherever.
Don't have scientists researching things that are just... Stupid. Don't have them doing studies on "Do games make people waste time" or whatever.
Sure, by all means research the possibilities of space travel and the possibilities of living on other Planets. It could be great for the human race... But i don't think it's NEEDED.
