This is what you get when you cater to people who aren't gamers. They made their money and success off people who don't care about the industry. The type of people who only buy what's "trendy" and "cool". Those people have very short attention spans and they're moving on.

The core gamers, the ones who made their company what it is today, the ones who have been on board since the NES/SNES days, they've mostly moved on so it's not like Nintendo can just switch it up and say "we're sorry". It's too late and so, they're going to have to lay in the bed they made.

Hopefully they learn their lesson next generation.

This, this and THIS!

I've been a Nintendo fan for ages. Actually, since I was 3 years old I have been playing Nintendo consoles ONLY, started out with the NES in '88. My first non-Nintendo console was the PS2, and that was mostly because of GTA 3. This generation, Nintendo gave me a big "fuck you", and started sucking off casual gamers for money. They forgot all about me and my many YEARS of loyal support through thick and thin. You fucked up Nintendo, and I hope this will hurt you bad. You don't forget the people who made you who you are, you cater to them and listen to them. Their new "fanbase" are just a bunch of casual wankers who doesn't have any idea of what you as a company really are. You are basically selling your console and games to people who don't really give a shit about you as a company or any of your classic gaming franchises, and that will move on to the next new fad in a couple of years.

I will give them second chance, and I will buy the next Nintendo console, but they will have to show some major improvement and fan service to win my respect back. I actually base LOADS of my purchases on loyalty, respect and principles. If I do not respect a company, I don't give a rats ass if their product is a life saver, I will never give them a cent. I know companies only want my money, but some of them actually makes me feel happy about giving them money for the product/service I get, because I respect them. Nintendo and most definitely the Wii is not in this group at the moment.

Nintendo hasn't changed a bit, you have.

this

This too.

This, this and THIS!

At first I thought you were being sarcastic, but I'm pretty sure you're serious. You sound very angry, which to me you sound like a whiny little child, and extremely selfish at that. "Nintendo should only make games that I like and nothing else." boohoo

Really Nintendo have gone back to what they were like in their older days. Like some have said it's you that has changed, not nintendo, so maybe you should be angry at yourself if you don't like the way things are.

I haven't been a happier gamer since the SNES, and a lot of people I have heard feel the same. Some, like you, don't, and that's too bad because you're the ones missing out.
