MW1 has been out for about 3 years now and two Call of Duty games have succeeded it. Nevertheless, it has maintained great legs. Perhaps you're underestimating its sales potential in the future and with with price drops.

MW1 has been cheap already and this isn't any console that price cut will makes sales grow so much

and the price cut difference is so low

and heck mw2 itself is so cheap,so people won't for  mw1

Yeah, word of mouth has been terrible for GTAIV sales. I mean HD consoles combined it has only sold a measly 14.5 million. And it sold 23K copies last week. Clearly word of mouth has killed this game.

yeah not killed the game but the  number by which consoles are rising it should have been more and that tells you that more people are leaving the game too

I wasn't directly comparing the PS2 to the 360. I'm saying MW1 and GTAIV will maintain solid legs even late into the 360's life. You seem to think sales will dry up. I disagree.

the sales won't completely dey up but they will be very minor to notice

COD isn't like big franchises that come every 4 year but occuring every year and the recent MW1 sales have been helped by MW2,black ops doesn't relate much  so sales will decrease to minor again
